Exchanges & Store Credit on New Retail Costumes
At Costume World, we want you to love your costume. Most new, packaged retail costumes may be exchanged for a different size or returned for store credit within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging with tags attached. Certain items remain final sale as noted below.
Please review all product descriptions, sizing information, photos, and order details carefully before completing your purchase.
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item arrives damaged or defective, or if you receive an incorrect item, please contact us immediately at info@costumeworld.com.
Please include your order information and photos of the item and packaging so we can evaluate the issue and determine the appropriate resolution.
Claims regarding damaged, defective, or incorrect merchandise should be made promptly after receiving your order.
Eligible new, packaged retail costumes may be returned for store credit within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging with tags attached. A 15% restocking fee applies to store-credit returns. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Items returned to Costume World without prior authorization will not be accepted. To request a return, contact us at info@costumeworld.com with your order number before sending anything back.
We offer size exchanges on eligible new, packaged retail costumes within 30 days of delivery, subject to availability. The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping; we cover outbound shipping of the exchanged size. To start an exchange, email info@costumeworld.com with your order number and the size you need.
Eligible returns are issued as store credit, not cash refunds. Cash refunds are only considered when Costume World determines that an order cannot be fulfilled or when an approved resolution is necessary for a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.
The following are final sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or store credit: vintage and one-of-a-kind originals, theatrical and production rentals, wigs and facial hair, makeup, custom-built costumes, clearance and marked-down merchandise, and any item that has been worn, washed, or removed from its original packaging.
Once an order has been placed, we cannot guarantee that it can be canceled or changed. Orders may begin processing immediately after purchase.
